It takes well-refined preparation with consistency to clear the PFRDA Grade A examination.

And solving as many previous year’s papers as possible is an important part of the preparation, since practicing these papers will help in many aspects, such identification of your weak areas, understanding the exam pattern, and much more.

In the below I have mentioned the benefits of solving PFRDA Grade A Previous Paper:

    • Understanding the Exam Pattern: Solving past papers gives you a clear picture of the exam layout. It helps you see exactly how marks are divided and what type of questions are asked in both Phase 1 and Phase 2.
    • Improving Time Management: When you practice with a timer, you learn how to manage the strict 100-minute limit for the exam. This trains you to divide your time wisely across different sections, so you do not leave any easy questions behind.
    • Spotting Important Topics: Going through old papers helps you notice which topics are asked again and again. This allows you to focus your study time on high-scoring areas rather than less important chapters.
    • Increasing Speed and Accuracy: Regular practice helps you solve mathematical and reasoning problems much faster. It also reduces your chances of making silly mistakes, which is very important because of the negative marking.
    • Building Exam Confidence: Practicing under real exam conditions makes you comfortable with the pressure. By the time the actual exam day arrives, you will feel much more confident and less anxious.
    • Identify Strengths and Weaknesses: Based on your test score, find out which topics you are already good at and which subjects need more of your time and attention.

PFRDA Grade A Exam Centres

When you fill out the online application, you can choose up to three preferred exam centres for Phase 1 and one preferred exam centre for Phase 2.

Your choices for Phase 1 and Phase 2 can be different. However, if you are applying for two different streams, you must select the same centres for both phases.

Please note that PFRDA can change or cancel a centre based on administrative needs, and you cannot request a change once a centre is assigned to you.

    • Interview – The exact venue for the interview is not fixed in the notification; it will be informed directly to the shortlisted candidates through their interview call letter

When will the PFRDA Grade A Result 2026 be declared?

PFRDA releases the results separately for every stage on its official website. Here is how the result process works for the Assistant Manager post:

PFRDA Grade A Phase 1 Result

      • This is the first result announced after the Phase 1 online test.
      • It only shows if you have qualified to take the Phase 2 exam. The marks you get in Phase 1 are not added to your final total.
      • PFRDA posts a list of successful roll numbers on its website and also sends an update by email or SMS.

PFRDA Grade A Phase 2 Result

      • This result comes out after you complete the Phase 2 online exam.
      • To pass, you must meet the minimum cut-off marks for both papers.
      • Based on these marks, PFRDA shortlists candidates for the next round equal to 5 times the total number of available vacancies.

PFRDA Grade A Interview Result – After the personal interview (Phase 3) is completed, you receive a score based on your performance in this round.

    PFRDA Grade A Final Result

      • The final selection result is made by combining your Phase 2 written marks and your interview marks.
      • Your Phase 2 score carries 85% of the total weight, and the Interview carries the remaining 15% weight.

How to Check PFRDA Grade A Result?

      • Step 02: Click on the “Careers” section or check the latest updates on the homepage.
      • Step 03: Find and click the link for the “PFRDA Grade A Result 2026” matching your specific exam phase.
      • Step 04: A PDF document will open on your screen showing a list of roll numbers.
      • Step 05: Use the “Ctrl + F” search function on your keyboard, type in your exact roll number, and see your roll number.

What are the category-wise PFRDA Grade A 2026 Cutoff Marks?

In order to clear a stage and move on to the next, you need to score a minimum required mark. These marks are called Cut-offs and PFRDA usually releases the official cut-off marks on their website only after the final results of the entire hiring process are declared for the year.

To move forward in the PFRDA Grade A exam, you must keep the following rules in mind:

      • Phase 1 Cut-Off: You need to get minimum passing marks in Paper 1 and Paper 2 separately. You also need to score above a total combined cut-off to pass Phase 1. The PFRDA decides these minimum marks based on how many posts are available that year.
      • Phase 2 Cut-Off: Just like the first stage, you must clear the cut-off for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 separately, as well as the total combined score. An important rule here is that your Paper 1 (English Descriptive) will only be checked if you get the minimum passing marks in Paper 2 first.
      • Final Cut-Off: Your Phase 1 marks are only used to filter out candidates and are not counted in the end. The final cut-off and selection list is made by adding 85% of your Phase 2 exam marks and 15% of your Phase 3 Interview marks.
