SEBI Grade A 2026 Salary And Perks
Basic Pay – The salary structure for a Grade A officer includes the basic pay which starts at ₹62,500 per month and increases up to ₹1,26,100 over the course of 17 years.
Pay Scale – The SEBI Grade A pay scale grows from Rs. 62500 – 3600 (4) – 76900 – 4050 (7) – 105250 –
EB – 4050 (4) – 121450 – 4650 (1) – 126100 [17 years] and increases up to ₹1,26,100 /- over the course of 17 years.
Gross Salary – The gross salary is approximately ₹1,84,000/- per month without accommodation. However, officers with accommodation (housing or allowance for housing) receive a gross salary of ₹1,43,000/- per month.
Annual Salary – The SEBI Grade A Annual CTC is approximately 22 to 24 lakh yearly.

SEBI Grade A Exam Eligibility Criteria 2026
The official notification for SEBI Grade A 2026 has been released. However, based on previous trends, it is likely that the eligibility criteria will remain the same.
SEBI Age Limit –
- According to the official notification, the upper age limit for applicants is 30 years as of 30th September 2025. This means that candidates must not have been born before 01st October 1995.
- Age relaxation is provided for SC/ST, OBC, PwBD, and Ex-servicemen candidates as per government rules.
Educational Qualification – The minimum educational qualification for the General Stream is given as:
- Master’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma* (minimum two years’ duration) in any discipline/
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a recognized University/
- Institute or Chartered Accountant/ Chartered Financial Analyst/Company Secretary/ Cost Accountant.
