The notification for the RBI Grade B Exam 2025 is yet to be released. The application process for this will start on the same date as the release of the notification and will remain open for approximately 15-20 days. 

RBI publishes a short newspaper advertisement before the release of the official Notification.

Filling out the application form is a mandatory prerequisite for every aspiring candidate. It is the first and foremost step you must take, without it, you will not be eligible to appear in the Exam. 

You must be all aware and careful while completing the application form as RBI does not allow any modification in the application form once it is submitted, nor do they offer any correction window for it. Any errors will require filling out a new form.

Talking about the RBI Grade B application fees payment, this is something without which your RBI Grade B registration 2025 cannot be completed.

The Application fees payment is often the final step of any RBI Grade B online application process and can be done from the opening date to the end date of the application process.

As far as the method of payment is concerned, you can pay the RBI Grade B form fees through online mode only. You will be required to use the following means online:

*SC/ST/PWD candidates need to pay the intimation charge of 100 INR only to successfully register for the RBI Grade B exam. They do not need to pay the application fees.

Fill Registration Form

Step 1: Click on: rbi.org.in, scroll till the bottom of page to click on “Recruitment Related Announcements”.

Step 2: Once page opens, click on current vacancies to open drop-down menu, then open vacancies, on the next page click on “Recruitment of Officers in Grade B- DR (General), DEPR/DSIM-2025”.

Step 3: Once that page opens up, click on “Online Application. After that a new page will open for “New registration”.

Note: you will get a registration number and password. It will then automatically get generated and save it for future reference.

      The answer is no, you can’t. The details that you enter into your application form cannot be changed after you click on the final submission button. Therefore, I’d suggest that you check the details that you enter very carefully before finally submitting your application form.

      The best option for you in such a situation would be to edit the detail that you might be doubtful of while previewing your application form itself.

      In case you have submitted more than 1 application form, only the latest filled application that you had submitted will be considered by the RBI. All other applications that you may have submitted will be scrapped.

      If you are not being able to upload your photo and signature, it must be because you have not uploaded them according to the prescribed specifications. So, I’d suggest that you upload your photograph and signature as per the dimensions given to us by the RBI.

      How many cities can I choose for the RBI Grade B Exam?
      • You can choose one city for Phase 1 and one city for Phase 2 of the RBI Grade B Exam in the application form.
      • You can select different exam centres for Phase 1 and Phase 2 respectively.

      Keep in mind that exam centres are allotted on a “first-apply-first allot” basis. If your preferred centre is full, you will need to select a different centre from the remaining ones.

      What if my payment for the RBI Grade B application form fails?
      If your payment for the RBI Grade B Application fails, your application will not be submitted. 

      • A successful transaction generates an e-receipt, whereas no e-receipt indicates that the payment has failed.
      • In case of payment failure, you need to log in again using your provisional registration number and password and repeat the payment process.
      • If your bank account was debited, but the payment failed, you can expect a refund within 5 to 7 business days.

      No, you do not need to send a physical copy of the application form and e-receipt to RBI to apply for the Grade B Exam 2025. However, you can print or save a copy of your application and the fee receipt for your records. This might be helpful for future reference.
