When will the SEBI Grade A Admit Card 2026 be released?

Latest Update: The SEBI Grade A 2026 notification is expected to be announced between July to September 2026 on the official website, along with complete details about exam dates, vacancies, and eligibility.

The SEBI Grade A Admit Card 2026 will be released online for both Phase 1 and Phase 2 and the interview. 

• SEBI Grade A Exam Dates 2026: The exam dates for Phase 1 and Phase 2 will be announced in the notification.
• SEBI Admit Card Timeline: Generally, admit cards for the Grade A exam are released around 10 to 15 days before the exam. The download link remains active till the exam date. 
• SEBI Interview Call Letter: Candidates who clear Phase 2 receive the interview call letter on their registered email ID. It includes details like interview date, time, and venue. 

Important Note: A clear printed copy of the admit card should be carried to the exam centre because it is required for entry and verification.

SEBI Grade A Admit Card 2025

Latest Updates: The Admit Card for SEBI Grade A Phase 01 is released on 03rd January 2026, and the exam for the same will be conducted on 10th January 2026.

The official notification for SEBI Grade A 2025 is out now on 30th October 2025. The Phase 01 of SEBI Grade A will be held on 10th January 2026, whereas Phase 02 will take place on 21st February 2026.  

The admit cards for Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the Grade A exams are generally released about two weeks before the respective exam.  

Based on past trends, there is usually a one-month gap between the Phase 1 and Phase 2 exams, which also applies to the release of admit cards. 

The window to download the admit card will be open from the moment the hall ticket is released on the official website up until the exam date. 

It is important to note that the SEBI Grade A admit card is one of the main documents that you must carry to the exam center since it is important for verifying the candidate’s official details.  

Therefore, if you fail to carry the admit card on the exam day, you shall be denied entry to the exam premises.   

How to download SEBI Grade A Admit Card?

To help you download the SEBI Grade A admit card seamlessly, I have mentioned the detailed step-by-step process below.  

Step 01: Visit the official SEBI website. 

Step 02: Now, click on the “About” section at the top-left area, then go to the “Career” section directly.

Step 03: Here click on the “Recruitment of Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) – General Stream, Legal Stream, Information Technology Stream, Research Stream, Official Language Stream, Engineering (Electrical) Stream and Engineering (Civil) Stream – Call Letter for Phase 1 & 2” link. 

Step 04: Click on the link to open the call letter for phase 1 or 2.

The new page that opens will have a “login credential” box on the right side.

Step 05: Here you can choose from English or Hindi as the language in which you’d want your SEBI Grade A admit card to be printed, and fill in your “registration number”, “password/Date of Birth”, and the CAPTCHA security code.

Step 06: After filling in these details, click on the login button.

• Clicking on the “login” button will grant you access to your SEBI Grade A admit card. 
• Take a printout by clicking on the “click to print” option. You can also save your admit card as a PDF by clicking on the same option.

Details Mentioned in SEBI Grade A Admit Card 

The candidates must carefully check the information provided on the admit card. In case of any error or discrepancy, the applicants must report to the concerned authorities for any correction. The details mentioned on the admit card are as follows:  

1. Name of the Candidate 
2. Date of Birth 
3. Father’s/Husband’s Name 
4. Candidate’s Photograph 
5. Candidate’s Signature 
6. Venue of the exam center 

Documents to Carry Along With Your SEBI Grade A Admit Card 

Before going for the exam, you should make sure you are carrying all the required documents. These are checked at the centre for identity verification, and without them, you may not be allowed to appear for the exam. 

• SEBI Grade A Admit Card: You must carry a printed copy of your admit card with a recent, recognizable photograph affixed on it. 

• Valid Photo ID Proof (Original + Photocopy): You need to carry one valid photo ID proof in original along with a photocopy. The name on your ID must exactly match the name on your admit card. These are accepted ID proofs:

• PAN Card, Voter ID Card, Aadhaar Card & Passport 
• Permanent Driving License 
• Bank Passbook & Employee ID (Original) 
• Bar Council Identity Card with photograph 
• Photo ID issued by a Gazetted Officer on official letterhead
• Photo ID issued by a People’s Representative on official letterhead 
• A valid recent Identity Card issued by a recognized College or University 

Note: Ration Card and Learner’s Driving License are not accepted as valid ID proof.   

• Passport Size Photograph: You should carry a recent passport size photograph. Also, it should be the same as the one uploaded during the application process. 

Instructions for the photograph:

• Carry a passport size photo, which is 4.5 cm × 3.5 cm 
• The photograph must be recent and recognizable. 
• Make sure it matches the photo used in your application. 
• Avoid blurred or unclear photographs 

Note: It should be the same as the one uploaded during registration. 

Make sure all your documents are valid and your details match exactly. Even a small mismatch in name or missing document can create issues at the exam centre.

What Not to Carry Along With Your SEBI Grade A Admit Card  

While it is important to know what to carry, you should also be clear about what is not allowed at the exam centre. As per the official guidelines, carrying prohibited items can lead to strict action, including disqualification. 

The following things are not allowed at the examination hall: 

• Mobile phones, even in switched-off mode 
• Electronic devices such as smartwatches, pagers, Bluetooth devices, calculators, or any programmable device 
• Storage media like pen drives or any device capable of communication 
• Cameras or similar devices 
• Any notes, papers, or study material 
• Stationery items like pens, pencils, etc., as only the ones provided at the exam centre are allowed 
• Any other unauthorized items or materials 

Candidates should be careful and avoid carrying any such items to the exam centre. If found with any of these, strict action may be taken, including disqualification from the exam. 

Important Instructions for SEBI Grade A Exam Day 

Before appearing for the exam, you should clearly understand a few important instructions related to the call letter, and this can help you avoid any last-minute issues. 

Identity Verification Process 

• You should report to the exam centre around 1 to 2 hours before the reporting time to complete verification formalities.  
• This includes Aadhaar-based biometric authentication, photograph capture, and document verification.  
• You must carry your Aadhaar card with valid ID proof and a passport-size photograph. 
• Late entry is not allowed under any circumstances.   

Name & Document Matching 

• Your name on the admit card must exactly match the name on your photo ID proof.  
• If there is any mismatch, you may not be allowed to appear for the exam.  
• In case of any name change, you should carry supporting documents like a marriage certificate or gazette notification.   

Biometric & IRIS Verification 

• Your fingerprint and photograph will be captured during the exam process, and in some cases, IRIS scan may also be done.  
• If biometric verification fails or is refused, your candidature can be cancelled.

SEBI Grade A Interview Call Letter

• After Phase 2 exam, the selected candidates are called for the final stage, i.e., the Interview round. 
• Before the Interview can take place, the SEBI Grade A call letters are sent to the qualified candidates. 
• The Interview call letter is usually released 1- 2 months after the Phase 2 exam is held. 
• The call letter is sent to the selected individuals via online through their registered e-mail IDs. 
• It is important for you to note that none of the Interview call letters will be sent by post. Hence, make sure that you provide a valid e-mail ID at the time of the online application procedure. 
• To avoid any further complications, ensure that your registered e-mail ID is functioning properly till the final selection process commences. 

SEBI Grade A Interview – List of Documents Required

At the time of the SEBI Grade A Interview, you will be required to produce the following documents for verification. You must carry each document in original as well as a photocopy. The documents required are: 

• Print out of Interview Call Letter 
• Original Attestation Form with affixed signed photographs 
• Govt. issued ID Proof such as Aadhar Card (in original and photocopy) 
• All Educational mark-sheets and certificates 
• Bio-Data Form (1 original & 6 photocopies) in prescribed size with signed photographs. 
• For OBC/ST/SC candidates, you’ll also need to carry the original Caste Certificate along with its photocopy. 
• For EWS candidates, you’ll also need to carry the original Income and Asset Certificate along with its photocopy.
