Why Checking Every Detail in the SEBI Grade A Admit Card Is Very Important
It is most important to pay attention to each detail mentioned in the admit card, which I have told students multiple times. But let’s see why it is important and how missing any detail can affect your SEBI Grade A exam journey.
Background – A working SEBI Grade A aspirant who had covered the whole syllabus, mocks, revision, and finished the preparation with a well-rounded strategy within time, according to his work shifts. After months of dedicated hard work and focus, he was now waiting to receive his admit card.
Situation – Finally, when he received the admit card, he downloaded it within minutes and quickly checked:
- Exam Date
- Exam Centre
- Personal Information
- Instructions
- Photograph & Signature
And he slept early for his next-day work shift without checking for any missing information in the admit card.
On the Next Day – On the work shift, he casually checked his admit card during lunch hour, and he found something that shocked him.
He noticed his exam shift schedule and realised that he had missed this information while checking the admit card for the first time. Since the exam was being conducted the day after tomorrow, he was still able to adjust his work accordingly.
The Issues – He luckily noticed the shift on his second check, which he had forgotten to check earlier. Now imagine if
- He hadn’t checked again on the second day: If he had not verified the details the next day, he would have completely missed his exam shift.
- The second check was on exam day: After the first time, if he had checked the admit card directly on the exam day, he would not have had time to adjust his schedule.
In both scenarios, he would have completely missed his SEBI Grade A examination, along with the time, dedication, and hard work of months.
The Real Issue – The issue is not actually missing any detail; it is being in a rush as he was to sleep early. You will never miss any detail if you do not rush and pay attention while checking the admit card, along with this:
- Read the admit card at least twice for any incorrect information and do not miss any required details.
- Save PDFs on the phone as well as in email, since websites often stop working.
- Take at least 2 printouts so that you will still have a copy of your admit card in case you misplace another one at the last minute.
SEBI Grade A exams are not only about clearing the competition with knowledge, but it is also about discipline. That said, take lessons from this incident and good luck for your exams!
