UPSC Result 2025
As the UPSC exam process entails three stages – Prelims, Mains and the Interview, the UPSC CSE result is also announced at three different intervals after the commencement of each stage.
The UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) follows a three-stage selection process: Prelims, Main, and the Interview (Personality Test). Thus, the results are announced in three phases, each after the completion of a respective stage.
The UPSC prelims result is typically declared around 3 to 4 weeks after the exam and is published on the official UPSC website.
The UPSC Mains result usually follows 2 to 3 months after the Mains examination.
The final result, which combines the marks obtained in the Mains and the Interview, is announced approximately 4 to 5 months after the Interview stage.
All results are released in PDF format, listing the roll numbers of the qualified candidates.
Later, a separate PDF is published that includes both the roll numbers and names of the selected candidates, available on the official UPSC website.

UPSC Prelims Result 2025
Latest Update: The result for UPSC Prelims 2025 has been out on 11th June 2025 for the exam which took place on 26th May 2025.

Following the trend, the result has come out within one month after the commencement of the exam.
UPSC Mains Result 2025
The UPSC Mains exam 2025 is scheduled to be held on 22nd August 2025. The result for this examination will be released approximately one month after the exam.
The results will be published on the official UPSC website in PDF format, listing the roll numbers and names of candidates shortlisted for the next and final stage which is the Interview/Personality Test.
Previously, The UPSC 2024 Mains exam successfully took place from 20th, 21st, 22nd, 28th, and 29th September 2024. The result of the concerned exam came out on 09th December 2024. The result was released on the official website of UPSC.

UPSC Final Result 2025
The UPSC Final Result 2025 will be declared after the completion of the Personality Test. It will include the combined marks obtained in the Mains examination and the Interview.
As per the official process, candidates are selected based on their merit, which is determined by the total marks secured in both stages.
The final cutoff marks of candidates are usually released by UPSC along with or after the final result.

Step 1: Visit the UPSC’s official website – www.upsc.gov.in

Step 2: After opening the website, scroll down to look for the link called “written results”.

Step 3: After clicking on the “written results” link, click on the link called “Examination Written Results”.

Step 4: Next, Download the UPSC Result PDF labeled “Civil Services Examination of that particular year you appeared″.

Step 5: Search for your roll number in the result PDF. Tap back if you have cleared the exam or start working hard for the next year if you haven’t. Never lose hope.
