NABARD Full Form
- NABARD – The NABARD full form is National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development.
- Grade A – This is the entry-level to the select candidate for the role of an Assistant Manager.
- Grade B – This is an upper level in the hierarchical order conducted to hire officers for the position of a Manager.

Refinancing:
- Refinance support is given to Cooperative and Regional Rural Banks for agricultural, handloom, & marketing needs.

- Provide credit facility to Marketing Fed., Corp. & Cooperatives, as well as loan for creation of warehouse infrastructure.
Banking Supervision:
- NABARD conducts inspections of RRBs, SCBs and DCCBs.
- It also carries out voluntary inspections of CARDBs and off-site surveillance.
Development:
- NABARD supports credit planning and coordination to boost ground level credit flow & capital formation.
- It promotes financial inclusion through SHG-bank linkage and women SHGs. It also promotes livelihood opportunities & micro enterprises.
- It forms Joint Liability Group for marginal farmers.
Institutional Building:

NABARD Grade A & B 2025 Exams
NABARD Grade A & Grade B exams are conducted for recruitment to the post of Assistant Manager (Grade A Officer) & Manager (Grade B Officer) respectively.

NABARD Grade A & Grade B 2025 selection procedure is a three-stage process that involves the following phases –
- Phase 1 – also known as Preliminary exam
- Phase 2 – also referred as Mains exam
- Phase 3 – Interview or Personality Test
NABARD Grade A & Grade B 2025: Job Profile
Once you are selected as an Assistant Manager (Grade A), you can be assigned to any department in the bank irrespective of your qualification.
NABARD has a bureaucratic work culture. So, you’ll have to report to the Chief General Manager (CGM).
Similarly, when you join NABARD as a Grade B Officer you are appointed to the post of Manager. You’re entrusted with different responsibilities like granting loans to facilitating inter-departmental works.
Life of a NABARD Grade A Officer

Work Timing: Officers typically work five days a week (Monday to Friday), with working hours often from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

NABARD Grade A & Grade B 2025: Salary
The NABARD Grade A and B positions are some of the most leading and sought-after roles in India, offering challenging yet rewarding career opportunities. NABARD is very liberal in paying Perks and Emoluments for even the smallest of expenses. (excited much?).
The salary of a NABARD Grade A officer is as follows:
- Basic Pay: In 2025, as per the official information by NABARD, the initial pay stands at Rs. 44,500/-.
- Gross monthly salary: Along with the allowances such as DA, HRA, the gross monthly salary of NABARD Grade A is approximately Rs. 1,00,000/-.
- Annual Salary: The annual CTC of a NABARD Grade A officer is approximately between Rs 16 lakhs to Rs 18 lakhs. This is including all the other perks and allowances.
- Pay Scale: The pay scale applicable to NABARD Grade A Officer is Rs. 44500 – 2500 (4) – 54500 – 2850 (7) – 74450 – EB – 2850 (4) – 85850 – 3300 (1) – 89150 (17 Years).

NABARD Grade A 2025: Eligibility Criteria
The official notification for NABARD Grade A 2025 is yet to be released. However, based on previous years, no major changes are expected in the eligibility criteria for this year’s exam.
The NABARD Grade A eligibility criteria cover several key aspects, including:
- Educational Qualifications
- Age Limit and it’s relaxation
- Nationality
- Number of Attempts–There is no fixed limiton the number of attempts for the NABARD Grade A exam. They just need tomeet the age limit and other eligibility criteria.
Let’s now take a closer look at each of these eligibility factors in detail.
1) Age Eligibility (as of 01 September 2025) 
- The candidate must be between 21 and 30 years of age as on the specified date (usually mentioned in the official notification).
- Age Relaxation is provided for reserved categories:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- You must be between 21 and 30 years of age as of 01 September 2023, i.e., you must have been born not earlier than 02-09-1995 and not later than 01-09-2004.
2) Educational Qualification 
To be eligible for the Grade A post in the general stream of RDBS, the educational qualifications required by the candidate are either of the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 60% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants – 55%) in aggregate. 
 
- Post Graduate degree, MBA/PGDM with a minimum of 55% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants – 50%) in aggregate
- A degree of professional qualification in CA/CS/ICWA.
3) Nationality
The candidate must be of any one of the following criteria:
- Be a citizen of India, or
- Be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or
- Be a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
- Be a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia) or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Note: Candidates in the last three categories must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

NABARD Grade B 2023: Eligibility Criteria
The NABARD Grade B 2023 notification is expected to come out soon. Hence, as for eligibility of the exam, I shall be mentioning the eligibility criteria mentioned in the 2021 official notification.
1) Age Eligibility (as of 1 July 2021)
The candidate must be between the ages of 25 and 32 years as of 01.07.2021, i.e., he/she must have been born not earlier than 02-07-1989 and not later than 01-07-1996).
2) Educational Qualification
To apply for the NABARD Grade B Manager post (RDBS), you’d need to be a Post Graduate degree holder in any subject with an aggregate of 60% (55% for SC/ST/PWBD), from a recognized university OR you should have a minimum 60% or equivalent in 10th, 12th, Graduation and PG, MBA/PGDM at all levels OR a minimum 60% or equivalent in 10th, 12th, Graduation, PG, and a professional degree, viz., CA/CS/ICWA OR a minimum 60% or equivalent in 10th, 12th, Graduation, PG and Ph.D.

NABARD Grade A 2025: Notifications
NABARD usually releases a Grade A newspaper advertisement prior to the official notification, providing important details such as the expected release date’s official notification and number of vacancies, which generally ranges from 100-150 based on past trends.  
 
As of now, the official notification for NABARD Grade A 2025 has not been released yet. 
 
Once the official notification is out, it will contain all the essential information such as exam date, number of vacancies, application process, eligibility criteria and syllabus etc. 
The exam dates both Phase 1 and 2 will be released in the official notification.

NABARD Grade A 2024: Notifications
Latest Update: – The NABARD Grade A Result for Phase 2 is out on 29th November 2024.
 The NABARD Grade A 2024 admit card for Phase 2 exam has been declared on 09th October 2024. 
The NABARD Grade A Phase 2 exam was Conducted on 20th October 2024.
The Phase 1 result for NABARD Grade A 2024 exam has been announced on 27th September 2024.
The Phase 1 admit card for NABARD Grade A 2024 exam has been declared on 26th August 2024.
The official notification for NABARD Grade A 2024 exam has been out on 27th July 2024. A total 102 of vacancies have been released for NABARD recruitment 2024 for Grade A post.
The application process for the NABARD Grade A 2024 has begun on the same day itself, on 27th July 2024 and shall end on 15th August 2024.
As per the notification, the Phase 1 exam will commence on 01st Septmeber 2024.
The newspaper advertisement for NABARD Grade A 2024 has been out on 25th July 2024.
As for NABARD Grade B Notification, at the moment, there is no concrete information about the respective recruitment.

Phase 1 – Preliminary Examination

- Question Type: Objective Type (MCQs)
- Duration: 120 Minutes
- No. Of Questions: 200 Questions
- Total Marks: 200 Marks
- Marking Scheme: Negative marking of 1/4th marks for each incorrect answer.

- Economic & Social Issues – For General Discipline
- Agriculture & Rural Development:
- Paper Type: This consists of both, objective as well as descriptive type of paper.
- Duration: The duration of this exam is 2 hours.
- Marks: This paper consists of 100 Marks in total.
Paper 3
- Subjects: Development Economics, Statistics, Finance & Management.
- Paper Type: Paper 3 is objective as well as descriptive.
- Duration: The duration of this exam is 2 hours.
- Marks: This paper consist of a total of 100 marks.
Phase 3 – Interview (50 Marks)
The Interview is the third and final phase of the NABARD Grade A and Grade B selection process, conducted after candidates clear Phase 2 and appear for the Psychometric Test.
- Weightage – The interview carries a weightage of 50 marks for Grade A.
- Language – Candidates can choose to appear for the interview in either English or Hindi, based on their preference.
- Assessment Area – Candidates are asked questions based on their academic background, conceptual knowledge, reasoning ability, communication and leadership skills
If we talk about the NABARD Grade B Exam Pattern, it is almost identical to that of the NABARD Grade A Exam. Everything from Phase 1 and Phase 2 subjects to time durations and maximum marks for the various papers is exactly the same.
- The only difference is the inclusion of an additional paper in Phase 2 for the Grade B exam.
- This additional paper is called Paper III, and it is an objective as well as descriptive online paper carrying 100 marks with a time limit of 2 hours.

NABARD Grade A & B 2024: Admit Card
Latest Update: – The NABARD Grade A 2024 Phase 02 admit card has been announced on 09th October 2024.   
As per the notification, the NABARD Grade A 2024 Phase 1 exam will be held on 01st September 2024, the admit card for the same has been announced on 26th August 2024.

The NABARD Grade A 2023 admit card has been declared on 09th October 2023 for the Prelims exam which was conducted on 16th October 2023.
The notification for NABARD Grade A 2023 had been announced on 02nd September 2023.

NABARD Grade A 2024 Cut Off
NABARD releases cut off marks after the announcement of the result declaration. In other words, the NABARD grade A cut off usually releases soon after the declaration of the final result.
While the exam cycle for NABARD Grade A 2024 is yet to commence you can look at the cutoff released for NABARD Grade A 2023 recruitment.
The final result for NABARD Grade A 2023 was released on 21st February 2024. Whereas the cutoff for Phase 1, Phase 2 and the final cutoff was declared on 19th April 2024.
Before the dissemination of the cut off and result information, NABARD successfully conducted the Phase 1 and Phase 2 exams of NABARD Grade A.

NABARD Grade A Result 2024
Latest update: The NABARD Grade A 2024 Phase 2 result has been announced on 29th November 2024 for the Phase 2 exam which was held on 19th October 2024. The NABARD Grade A 2024 Phase 2 result official pdf is attached here.
The NABARD Grade A 2024 Phase 1 Result has been out on 27th September 2024 for the exam which conducted on 01st September 2024.
The final result for NABARD Grade A 2023 has been out on 21st February 2024.
The NABARD Grade A 2023 Phase 2 result has been announced on 22nd December 2023 for the Phase 2 exam which was held on 19th November 2023. The NABARD Grade A 2023 Phase 2 result official pdf is attached here.
The result for NABARD Grade A 2023 Phase 1 was declared on 4th November 2023, the exam for which took place on 16th October 2023.
The marks secured by the candidates in the exam result play a major role in the final selection.
While there is no fixed timeline regarding the announcement of results for NABARD Grade A prelims, mains and the final result.
However, as per the general trend, the results for different phases of Grade A Examination are released within a month after the culmination of the specific stage.
