Here in this section, I have mentioned details regarding JAIIB exam pattern 2024. Going through it, you will get an idea about the nature of the examination. 

There are 4 papers given in the JAIIB exam, which are Indian Economy & Indian banking system, Principles & Practices of Banking, Accounting & Financial Management for Bankers and Retail Banking & Wealth Management. The exam pattern for JAIIB can be explained as follows:

    • Mode of exam: – All the 4 papers of JAIIB exam are conducted in online mode only.  
    • Time duration: – The time period allotted to complete each paper is 2 hours.  
    • Total marks: Each paper consists of total 100 objective multiple choice – based questions for a total of 100 marks.

Note: If you are able to score at least 45 marks in each subject with an aggregate of 50% marks in all subjects in the first attempt, you will be declared as qualified for the examination.

                              JAIIB Marking Scheme

                              Discussing in brief about the marking scheme of the JAIIB exam, there are 4 papers given in the syllabus of the exam.

                              With a total of 100 questions in each paper, the total marks for each paper is 100 marks, which implies 1 mark is allotted for every correct answer.  

                              While the number of questions asked in the exam could vary, there is no negative marking for attempting wrong answers as per the information on the official website.

                              JAIIB Passing Criteria

                              As mentioned above in the previous section of the JAIIB exam pattern, the examination consists of 4 papers of 100 marks each and is objective in nature.  

                              Although there is no negative marking for attempting wrong answer in each paper. However, there are few important details candidates need to know in order to qualify the exam. 

                              For each subject of JAIIB examination, the minimum marks to pass are 50 out of 100 marks.  

                              Candidates who secure at least 45 marks in each subject with an aggregate of 50% marks in all subjects in their first attempt will also be declared as qualified for the examination.  

                              In case candidates couldn’t clear all the subjects, they will be allowed to retain credits for the subject they have passed in an attempt until the expiry of the time period for passing the examination.
