  • Casual Leaves (CL): A NABARD Grade A officer gets 15 casual leaves yearly, which you can utilize or collect. Casual leaves can be collected for up to 3 years. 
  • Ordinary Leaves (OL/Earned Leave): Another major part of the leave policy is ordinary leaves which can be claimed once every 11 workdays. Similarly to the CL, officers can utilize these leaves or collect them for up to 10 months. 
  • Sick/Medical Leaves: NABARD provides officers with 1 sick leave every month with no restriction upon accumulation period meaning; an officer can collect sick leave for as long as he wishes. It can be taken as full pay (2 days) or half-pay, depending on service rules.

NABARD Grade A Officer Salary Annual Increment 

As a NABARD Grade A officer, your basic pay increases over time through fixed annual increments. Here’s how your salary grows during your career: 

  • NABARD Grade A Officer Starting Salary: Once the journey of an officer starts, the starting salary of a NABARD officer is Rs 44,500/-. 
  • First 4 years: 
    • Increment – Your salary increases by Rs. 2,500/- every year. 
    • Final pay – By the fourth year, the salary will be Rs. 54,500/-. 
  • For 7 Years (Year 5 to 11): 
    • Increment – An amount of Rs. 2,850 is added in salary each year. 
    • Final pay – Your basic pay will reach Rs. 74,450. 
  • Upcoming 4 Years (Year 12 to 15): 
    • Increment – You continue to get Rs. 2,850 as an annual increment. 
    • Final pay – Your salary will be Rs. 85,850 once you get 15 years’ experience. 
  • After 16th Year (Final Salary): 
    • Increment – You receive an increment of Rs. 3,300.

Note: This is just the basic pay of annual increment. Other than this, you’ll receive various allowances (like HRA, DA, etc.) that depend on other factors such as your location. 

NABARD Grade A Officer Salary Allowances

NABARD provides a lot of allowances to all the Grade A officers which have been mentioned below.
